When Only Naturals, one of my favourite natural beauty online shops, asked me if I'd like to review Alucia Organics Deep Cleansing Balm, I didn't hesitate to say “Yes, please”. Cleansing balms are one of my favourite cleansing products and Alucia Organics was a new brand for me to try.

Be a Shade Greener verdict
Alucia Organics Deep Cleansing Balm is a much softer balm than others I've tried so it's easy to scoop out the small amount you need to cleanse with. It quickly melts on contact with your skin so it's easy to massage onto your face. Alucia advise you massage the balm into your skin for 1-2 minutes which is a great way to pep up your cleansing and improve your skin.
After you've finished massaging, I removed the cleansing balm with an organic muslin cloth which is my preferred way to cleanse. The balm didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry. Instead my skin felt soft, smooth and clean without being stripped off natural oils thanks to the organic shea butter. It also looked fresh and radiant.
Balms are one of my favourite types of cleansers as they are fantastic for cleansing and nourishing your skin at the same time. Multi-purpose products are always a winner with me. I've been using this balm for two months now and am impressed with the way my skin looks clean and clear and feels soft.
Alucia recommend this cleansing balm for all skin types including dry, mature and normal. If you suffer with spots and blemishes, the organic chamomile and calendula extracts add anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which will help.
Alucia Organics Deep Cleansing Balm feels like a luxury cleansing experience and although you only get a small pot, a little goes a long way. This is common with natural and organic products due to the high-quality ingredients. You could use this product in the evening and another cheaper cleanser in the morning to make it last longer.
Fragrance
Lovely, fresh but not overpowering fragrance from the organic lemongrass, lavender and rosemary essential oils.
