This autumn SuperHomes gives you the chance to visit a house which has been refurbished to improve its energy efficiency.
What are SuperHomes?
SuperHomes is a network of 200 old houses across Britain which have been refurbished to the highest standards of energy efficiency are now examples of eco-friendly, sustainable, low carbon and low energy households. These sustainably-refurbished houses are now at least 60% less reliant on fossil fuels.
SuperHome open days
During September more than 50 SuperHomes are normally open to the public during SuperHome Open Days. I only just found out about this today so sorry about the late notice but I've seen on the website that there are houses opening their doors in October too. There's a range of houses on offer so you should be able to find something similar to your home which will probably be more useful. Although, I think a visit to any of the homes would be inspiring.
