When I was contacted by Honibe to ask if I'd like to try their Honibe honey gummies multivitamins and honey lozenges, I was intrigued. I love honey but had never heard of Honibe which makes health supplements and products using Canadian honey. Although it's best to try and get most of your vitamins from your food, I do take a multivitamin too to top up at certain times of the year or if I'm feeling a bit rundown.
Honibe Honey Gummies Multivitamins
Normally I took my vitamin supplement as a tablet that I swallowed with water. Since trying Honibe Honey Gummies, I won't be going back to the tablet format. Firstly, Honibe Honey Gummies taste delicious. They are like sweets which makes them great for children, as well as adults. If you don't like swallowing whole tablets or find it difficult then vitamin gummies will be great for you.
Natural flavours and colouring
Each bottle contains three natural flavours which are all tasty – natural berry, fruit punch and orange. Honibe say they have followed the Health Canada’s recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals so you only get what your body requires.
Honibe's vitamin gummies are free from:
- gluten
- dairy
- artificial colours
- flavours
- preservatives
There are ranges for adults and children and currently there is a special offer where if you buy two bottles of honey gummies, you get one free!

Honibe Honey Lozenges
Unfortunately, when the package from Honibe arrived my boyfriend was suffering with a cold which was a shame for him but meant he was a perfect tester for the lozenges. He was suffering badly with blocked sinuses but one lozenge quickly unblocked them and kept them clear for several hours. He was very impressed and said it was the best thing he'd tried. He's not easily impressed so they must be seriously good.
Honibe say these are the world’s first lozenges made from pure dried honey and they contain as few as 3 ingredients. There are three lovely flavours – pure Honey, Lemon or Cherry. I particularly liked the cherry one. Menthol and eucalyptus help soothe a sore throat and the the honey gives the lozenges antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. There is also an immune support version with added zinc and vitamin C. I think they're a great natural alternative to normal throat sweets.
